Does anyone know how to create a sock bun or get a bun that shape?

Yup! just take a long sock and cut off the foot part so you get a sort of "tube" made out of cloth. then roll the tube down from the top to make a donut shape. I hope I explained this well enough, but if I didn't, there's plenty of tutorials for it on YouTube (:

to make the actual doughnut...
and then put your hair in a ponytail, pull the doughnut all the way through, and use a rubber band to fold your hair over the bun. with the excess hair you can twist it, tuck it, or braid it like this.
