First job at a fast food place! OOTD??

Okay so I start my first job at a fast food place tomorrow. My boss didn't tell me what to wear so help?? Is fast food places easy to work at??

They didnt give you a Uniform? usualy Fast Foods Do.

Hmmm they didn't give you a uniform? They probably will tomorrow so I would just wear a fitted t-shirt and black slacks. And comfortable shoes!

Yeah, usually fast food places get a uniform. our manager might give it to you on your first day then so I would probably just wear all black.

Just wear black pants, a black short sleeve shirt & some non-slip shoes. put your hair up & out of your face. GL!

Aww congrats!! My first job when I was 16 was at Carls Jr. I had so much fun there. From my experience...uniform was provided but if you're working at an independent don't go off running to Forever21 looking for cute work gear because it will be ruined after day one. I would wear jeans you don't care about because those fryers are a beast and oil stains are exactly that...stains. Tee-shirts...cheap and easy to clean. Comfortable tennis shoes with a non-slip is great (Sketchers has a line of non-slip shoes that are super stylish and comfortable as my husband wears them and he is hard to please in the shoe department). Where you can allow your creativity and personality shine...in your makeup. A nice bright lippie, eyes but don't do false lashes...my co-worker had her strip fall into the fryer one day and we had to go OSHA and cancel out sales of fries for the day so we could disinfect the unit.lol.

Congrats on your new job!! I work as an assistant manager at a fast food chain and I will tell you that it's a fast paced job. Just try to learn as much as you can as quick as you can and if you have doubts about something, don't be afraid to ask. Try to work in a fast paced and efficient way. Always, always smile and treat customers with courtesy and respect. Remember, the customer is always right (even if it might not be so). As for uniforms, just buy black slacks, black tees, polo shirts and try to have short sleeved collar shirts, just in case you need them. Very important that you use anti slip shoes. Just be careful when you step on ice, you can slip and fall. Keep your hair pulled back just in case you need to use a cap and maybe a hair net. As for makeup, keep it simple and natural. Good luck!!
