Erica I love that idea of magnetic boards!
I wish I could organize my stuff into a vanity. I spend about half the week with my mom and half with my bf (I sound like a kid haha but I am 27! My dad died in sept, I moved back home when he was sick and now I don't think it's a good time to leave my mom) Anyway, since I go back and forth I have to carry my makeup with me. I carry a makeup bag of lip stuff, a set of brushes, and a huge toiletry holder full of makeup. I still can't carry everything, palettes are hard, so I try to have some at home and some at my bf's.

And nail polish.. It's so bad bc I end up buying a bunch when I'm at my bf's bc I won't have the color I want here! Last I counted I had around 70 polishes..
