Well my friends could leave them as long as a week but mine closed overnight sooo I don't know. My piercings just mend too fast I guess haha.

If they're healed they won't close if you wait a long time it will just be a little hard to put them in but you'll be fine.

I have had my ear peirced since I was five and I left the earrings out for almost 3 years and they still aren't closed.

My grandma had hers pierced in her late teens, stopped wearing earrings in her 40s ish... she's 57 now and her ears aren't grown over. like someone above said, if they are completely healed, it will just be difficult to put them in, but not impossible
