I recently got one of the Sally Hansen gel starter sets and I've been using it with their nail strips but I remembered the OPI have gel polishes. Does the Sally Hansen LED light cure the gel colors from OPI as well? I love the nail strips but I love OPI polish too and wouldn't mind trying some of their gel colors if it will work! Sorry if this is a silly question, I'm totally new to gel manicures lol.

Yes (: it's just a UV light. it's not specific to Sally Hansen polishes. if it doesn't work for OPI polishes, I'll be shocked.

I have the same light. I use any polish and just use the sally Hansen gel coat as a top coat and cure it with the light.

Sweet! That's what I thought but I wanted a second opinion before rushing out and buying a gel color from them as they're a little more pricey than their regular polish.

You shouldn't really do it - it may work okay but you just have to take into consideration that when brands develop a UV or LED lamp, they design and manufacture it with their own polishes in mind. The strength, wattage and requirements DO vary from brand to brand.
worst case scenario you could cause a skin reaction from using incorrectly.

Good luck though! I would suggest if you're going to do it, test one finger first and leave it for a day before doing all your nails :)
