Personally if you feel comfortable in it, I don't really think it matters. If you feel like your boobs might come out or you just feel like its uncomfortable for you to wear and swim/do other fun things in, try getting a bigger size, or a different style :)

Mine covers a little bit more than what you said, but I have like no boobs so I don't have to worry much haha. Just jump around in it and move your arms to see if anything comes out. I agree with some ladies that if you like it, wear it

Usually they should cover more than that. I would try a different style or size because you don't want a nip slip while you're having fun. :)

I personally would want mine to cover WAAAYY more. But if you're comfortable with it just barely covering your areola then thats up to you girl. We all have our own personal preference!

Yeah, I think this is a personal decision. I don't believe in women dressing to please others. If you like it, wear it. It is an unconventional style, but it's 2014.

Guys, don't be ridiculous. It's all a matter of what you're comfortable with, don't shame someone for wanting to wear something you personally wouldn't be comfortable with. MY VS bikini fits just over my areola, and I admit I was unsure when I bought it, but I can jump and swim and do flips, and I don't pop out. I'm sure it looks fine, just jump around a bit to make sure yourself that you won't have a nip slip.
