I'd like to mix up my makeup a bit and I've always though the smoky eye look is beautiful! Please someone help me with some steps on doing it. Thanks!

I have blue eyes and I like using a shimmery pale or pink for a base and then work my way into browns, deepen at the crease of where your eye closes it makes the eye have more definition I hope this helps oh and I always finish it with a winged liner :)

1. Prime eyes
2. Apply black base to bottom half of lid. (usually kohl or UD liner or gel liner)
3. Blend out base product til there are no harsh lines.
4. Apply black shadow atop that going slightly farther up where there is no base.
5. Apply dark brown shadow overlapping and above that.
6. Apply light tan or apricot shadow above that.
7. Blend like there is no tomorrow. Until I can't see a distinct transition from color to color.
8. Smoke out my bottom lashline with dark brown.
9. Apply eyeliner to my waterline, and the tightline.
10. Apply mascara (and falsies if desired).
Hope that helped. Here is a picture of my twist on a smokey eye. Instead of smoking out the bottom I made the look softer by using a burgundy.
