You know what actually works amazing? Bath and body works hand soaps! They are amazing as hand soaps but the foam one is what I use and it's even better for a beauty blender! And there are so many scents and some even have antibacterial in them!

People have been raving about ZOTE soap. It's at walmart in the laundry/detergent section and it's.97.

I clean my beauty blender the same as my brushes. Olive oil and dish soap! And once it's washed I squeeze it in a towel to get it as dry as possible!
Also, similar to cleaning dish sponges, you can try to clean it by putting it in a microwave bowl with a few inches of water. Heat it for about 30 seconds. This will help if the blender is older and hasn't been washed. It gets rid of any old smell or dirt.

I personally think the beauty blender solid is worth the price ($15.95). It's super easy to use, and I clean my brushes with it too!
