I think you should personally wear whatever YOU like whether it's a dress or not. Style is meant to define YOU and not a word with zero value or to please others.
If you want to wear a dress with boots I say go for it, there are no limitations nor should you be limited.
I personally like all of the photo posted, you can just wear them on different days. The boots Olivia posted are gorgeous as well.

Hey girly! I'm into country too :) the nice thing about cowboy boots is that they go with everything. I like to wear mine with absolutely everything I own, from dresses, to jeans and t shirts, to jean shorts, tank tops, leggings, everything! Maybe this is ridiculous, but I go country line dancing almost every week, and there are ways of styling cowboy boots to be pretty and girly if that's how you like to be :) here are some dress ideas.

More ideas. And all of these are pictures from my closet of how I wear my boots. The thing is that country style encompasses everything from rednecks to (old school) T-swift to Dolly Parton. It's such a broad spectrum of things. It's important to take staples from "country style" like cowboy boots, or camo, or plaid shirts, and wear them in your own way. You can combine them, or wear them separately. Just don't take it too overboard or you risk looking costumey, like if you wear a plaid shirt, AND boots AND braids. That would be a bit too much, for me personally (though if you like it, hey, who am I to say not to). But a good way to spin it would be to wear a plaid shirt with a tank top, leggings and boots, and maybe a single braid (fishtail or normal) to make it your own style :)
