I naturally have dark brown hair but I dye my hair blonde & blonde dye usually covers it but lately it hasn't. How long should I keep it on my roots before I put it on my hair?

Don't extend the amount of time to keep it on!! Maybe you need to bleach your roots prior to applying the dye.
