Main and tail shampoo

I'm sorry but I've heard really bad things about that shampoo. It's just not good for your hair because it's meant for horses, hence the name. Lol but seriously I wouldn't try it and unless your hair naturally grows fast I don't think there's a way to make it grow faster..just keep it healthy by doing DIY hair masks and invest in a sulfate free shampoo and things like that.

Do not use that shampoo. And it's all based on genetics. The only thing you can do is keep it healthy but limited heat, not showering everyday, get regular cuts and using masks and deep conditioning treatments. Don't brush while it's wet. Don't yank and pull.

Lay off the heat and use hot oil treatments

There are definitely ways to help hair grow fast. I'm no expert but I've been growing my hair out for six months and there is a drastic change because of what I started doing. They are suggestions, things that have are working for me, and things other people tell me have worked.
-don't wash it every single day, you strip your hair of natural oils that it needs to grow and maintain itself.
-cut down or cut out heat in your hair, of course.
-if you use hairspray wash it out the same day, it makes it brittle.
-give your hair got oil treatments, this shows immediate improvement. If you don't like oil you can always use conditioner I think that works well.
-trim your hair before you start other treatment, I did that this time and it was easiest to see my improvement. You don't have to trim too much but if you have split ends it helps.
-some people take prenatal pills it helps hair and nail growth. If your not pregnant it doesn't affect you in any way it's just a vitamin pill.
-You can get a weave lol seems weird but I had one in for a month and when I took it out there was no doubt my hair was in better condition. It also gave me a feel of longer hair which was fun and let's put as much heat without damaging your own locks.
-one last thing I do that I think helped is when I shower, I wash my hair first, then condition, then leave it in while I do everything else, giving it a chance to really soak in.
Like I said I'm no expert but it's working on me. I can post a before and after pic of you wanted to see and good luck!

Be careful with the pills though if you want to take that into consideration. Consult your doctor before doing so...

You don't need to consult a doctor to take prenatal pills lol, like I said there just extra vitamins. Feel free to check the back of any prenatal pill. They contain vitamins a, c, d, b6 & b12. zinc, copper, magnesium ect.. things everyone needs a daily dose of.

Biotin

Hair growth rate is genetic. To keep it healthy, trim off split ends, try hair masks, deep conditioning, etc.
Don't take pills such as Biotin, as they can cause acne, sickness and hospilitisation. You don't need to take Biotin as your body should have enough and you should be eating enough Biotin rich foods.
Do NOT use Mane and Tail, it is not pH balanced for humans, and the wax in it weighs your hair down so it feels longer, but it can make your hair brittle and break easier.

Only people with a Biotin deficiency should be taking Biotin. Just because it is widely and easily available in chemists and drugstores, doesn't mean it should be taken like you eat sweets.
