So I have naturally straight hair with a bit of a wave to it, but I like my hair to be pin straight. However, I can't get that wave out! I've used various products and straighteners and the result is the same.__. and throughout the day my hair loses its straightness even more.

Can I ask what products you've tried? My hair is naturally super wavy, with ringlet curls underneath, and I can get it perfectly pin straight even in Miami's 96% humidity. Maybe you're just not using the right products; I could tell you what I use, if you'd like.

Yes please! And honestly, I don't even remember. I gave all of my products to my best friend, since she's a beauty hoarder, and they didn't work out for me. I curl my hair almost everyday now, but I hate it so yes, help me please. 😂

Its a 10 plus keratin and hairspray! I like garnier bamboo humidity or herbal essences

I also recommend and oil like Biosilk or Organix Moroccan Argan Penetrating Oil, but usually the Its a 10 helps me the most and I don't use much oil now if any.

So okay, my favorite flat iron of all time is my 1" Chi. It's the bomb. I honestly love it, it's small enough to get all of the little wispy, frizzy hairs at my hairline. In conjunction with that, I use the Tressemme Keratin Heat Protector (black bottle, red handle). Make sure you're taking small enough sections that you get it straight after two passes.

Thank you all, and that's funny, because I actually do the same routine whenever I straighten my hair. Maybe it's just the irons I use. I've never had a high end one. And @Lisa S. I've always wanted to try its a 10! Maybe it'll help my completely damaged hair.

I absolutely love the Its a 10. I especially noticed a huge difference when I ran out and had to use what I used before and my hair looked horrible! Its expensive but its all I'll use now. I also recommend a better straightener! I have a chi and its great I've actually gone through 2 but thats only because I use it so much and the old one still works fine but its just worn out...

The iron you use makes all the difference! You also mentioned that your hair was damaged and a good proper iron will help lessen the damage and not damage it more where drugstore ones damage your hair.

At the moment I only have a cortex (pretty sure that's what it's called) and a hot tools flat iron. I'll check into the chi flat irons though, and all the products you guys listed. Thanks a lot!
