Hi Zoe I recommend getting a good primer and also I hear people with oily skin like the covergirl 3 in 1 foundation. Also a powder is a must I recommend the Neutrogena shine control powder. Hopes this helps!!

Yes, use a primer and the little oil sheets they're blue and absorb oil from your face they work really well.

I have the same problem, my skin is so oily!! I don't know how to rid the problem completely, but two things I do to reduce the oily/wet look is wash my face with Clean & Clear face wash (there's a ton of them but I use the purple one) it dries out your skin, and all you have to do is apply moisturizer after so you don't peel or anything. The second thing I use is Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets. It's a little thin box with blue sheets. You dab the oil and it comes right off.

I agree with Em L ^^ you just need a good face wash regime. Personally for me the face washes broke me out. The only think that controls my skin now is cleansing with oatmeal and using good toner like thayers witch hazel. Hope that helps hun. Good luck :) x

Em gave great advice but the most important thing...do not try and suck your skin dry with using harsh products to try and rid it of oil. Its going to backfire on you big time. When I was 13 I did that to my skin and it took a long time to get it normal again. Now I just embrace it for what it is because even though it doesn't matter much to you now but when you get my age you love oily skin because oily skin ages at a much slower rate than dry skin.

I say just try to moisturize more often to reduce the oil production - also you can try powders to absorb the oil but they will not permanently get rid of it - it may seem counterintuitive but I find moisturizing with oils at night helps to reduce oil production during the day - you can try jojoba oil it works very well for me :) otherwise it's genetics that govern oil production and you can't really control that so I say learn to love the oil! It helps to keep your skin glowing and looking youthful a lot longer than dry skin :)

I really wouldn't worry too much. You're only 13, your skin will probably change a lot through your teenage years (thankyou hormones!) The best thing you can do is keep your skin hydrated - if you dry it out by using "mattifying" or "oil reducing" cleansers, you will produce more oil to compensate. It turns into a never-ending cycle. Just something like Simple Cream Cleanser to wash your face and then a light moisturiser morning and night should do for now. You're only young after all, so embrace the glowing, wrinkle-free fresh skin you have!

To help oily skin, I love face masks. They just make my skin feel awesomely clean! My favourites are LUSH's Mask of Magnaminty and Cupcake.

I have suffered from oily skin my entire life and nothing ever worked for me! My foundation would rub off and look disgusting. Recently I started using arbonne fc5 line and honestly it has cut my oil production in half! It smells amazing and has no harsh chemicals that dry out your skin and it's animal cruelty free! :) they also have a deep cleansing mask and exfoliating scrub that you can use 2-3 times a week! Honestly I could go through 7 of those oil blotting papers before and now I'm down to 1, maybe 2 if it's really hot out. Let me know if you want to hear more :)
