Okay well I'm going to be getting a trim soon and dying it as well. I'm just wondering what color you ladies think would suit me. In the past I've always gotten an auburn color with some brownish red pulled through. Here's a pic now (don't mind the ends because they need trimmed very badly, and the red has faded out to a very light brown color because of being in the sun a lot lately). I'm also wondering what I could use to keep my hair intact and keep it healthy until I get my next trim. Any suggestion will be a huge help to me!

I think you'd look fabulous with a good layered cut, it will amp up the volume too! I like Jorie's idea of caramel highlights!

I agree that some layers would look nice to bring some more volume to your hair. I think the color you have now looks nice too.
