Fake Tan Help?!

Well, I'm really pale. like.. WHITE.
never in my LIFE have I had a tan, people just point out how WHITE I am and it makes me feel horrible cause' they have a nice tan.
so, I just ordered some 'st moriz' branded tan products.
one is a mouse, medium shade, 200ml.
for my arms, legs, stomach, back 👌
for my face/neck/shoulders I got a face tan that lasts 24 hours until it washes off, 100ml.
however, I have some questions.
1) do I shower a day before my fake tan OR the same day?
2) if I shower/bath a day after my tan has been applied will it go patchy or streaky?
3) any tips to make the tan look nicer?
4) can I do it with my hands or do I need a special sponge thing.

I would suggest a mitt to rub in the product- it'll prevent striking. Make sure to exfoliate and shave very well before applying the tan, so the color doesn't cling to any dead skin and splotch. And I shower the day of, just so that I'm completely smooth, but do what you're comfortable with. And the tan should look fine if you shower the day after you apply. read the bottle for a recommended amount of time to stay dry after applying, to make sure the color develops smoothly.

I shave and exfoliate the day before I tan. moisturise knees elbows ankles. apply the fake at the next night before bed (use old sheets) & I wash mines off in the morning with a face cloth with shower gel on it. If that helps you x

I exfoliate, shave an shower just before I apply my tan. I use this brand of tan my self it's really nice and brown as in not orange ,but to be honest the medium is dark so use sparingly. I would definitely recommend you use a tanning mitt. A tip try not to wear a bra or socks after you apply to percent marks..and one more thing if it's gradual it can look a little dirty the next day bit once you wash its perfect. Hope this helps

I use St Moriz. I shower, Exfoliate and then moisturise. I apply the tan with a mitt and leave for 6 hours and then shower it off. It leaves you such a lovely tan colour. Also no streaks or orange with this :) xx
