Absolutely! You're sort of pulling it off already, minus the red hair-do you really want to get into that? As I'm sure you know, red requires a lot of maintenance. In an case, this would look pretty on you, with or without the new color.

If you decide to go for red, I would recommend getting a darker color than you want because when it fades it'll become lighter and more to the color you want(:
