I was thinking about using the laser acne treatment, skin peels, birth control, or other prescriptions. But I want to try something less drastic first. What I currently use is the Neutrogena Rapid Clear line, but it does work as well. I'm willing to spend a good amount of money for something that works. Thanks in advance ☺️

Yes. I have tried a lot of over the counter remedies, as well as brands like Clinique, Proactiv, X Out, Philosophy, and Clearasil

I agree with Jacqlyn! See a Dermatologist!
My derm prescribed me:
- spot treatments for the inflamed bumps (aczone & tazorac)
-gel for my back acne (ziana)
- sulfur face wash
- the antibiotic doxycycline &
then I switched to amoxicillin
All of these things undoubtedly helped my acne & without them, who knows what my skin would be like now. See a professional that can "diagnose" your skin and supply you with the proper products to combat acne.

A dermatologist would be your best bet, but this is what I use...
- Oracea every morning which is a pill my dermatologist prescribed to me
- Cetaphil cleanser and lotion
- Ziana which Amanda mentioned, but it works for any acne
- OC8 which you can find on amazon. It's a matifying cream you use before you apply primer or foundation to your face.
I hope this helps out!

Scar fading wise, try Mederma. But don't use it if you still have active acne because it defeats the purpose. So I'd say wait until the acne is under control :)
