Hello, I've recently bought neutrogena pore refining daily cleanser and neutrogena alcohol free toner. I'm not quite sure I like both of them because they seem to be drying my face a bit. It would be really helpful if someone who used these products could give a detailed review about them. Thank you :)

If you feel it's too drying, either get a better moisturizer or I'd change products. Remember Skincare is super personal, what dries your skin out could make other people's too oily. It really all depends on you. That's why when it comes to Skincare it's trial and error till you find your best routine rather than just reading reviews.

Thank you Alyx. You are right what might work for one person might not work for another when it comes to skincare. I was just curious to know how it worked for other people who used it.

Try to only use them once a day until your face gets used to it or until you notice that it's too irritating for your skin - it's probably the products are a but strong for your skin type so just use them once a day and then if you see your skin is no longer drying out after use then bump up to twice a day - you should always introduce new skin care products gradually - if once a day is even too much you can use it every other day or even once a week

I would definitely start by using the products once a day, in my case I have combo skin and I ended up with highly irritated skin. I honestly don't know why because these products are supposed to be alcohol-free :(
