I use a primer for everything because I have such dry skin. I'd say it depends on your skin type and your personal preference.

Always wanna use a primer. helps the foundation to apply better and blend out. overall it gives you a smooth face canvas.

Yes! Primers really help moisturize your skin before putting all of the foundation on. Plus leaves you with more of a flawless finish than without one. It also depends on what primer you're using but overall, yes
