I don't they're pimples, but I get those all the time and I don't know what they're called. They usually go away by the next day.

They're inflamed taste buds. It should go away in a while. Maybe put the numbing gel that you can use for toothaches.

Carolina is right it's an inflamed taste bud. Tongues cannot get pimples because they don't have pores like skin. It should go away on it's own in a week or so. In the mean time avoid sour or acidic foods as it will irritate it more

I had inflamed taste buds the other day and I just chew some ice cubes then I could feel it getting numb and before I knew it, twas gone.

I get those occasionally just don't mess with them and they usually go away by the next day at the longest.
