I don't really know for sure if this is right, but I've seen youtubers say baby powder can be used as translucent powder? I think it should work if your skin isn't dripping with oil. Just bring a small bottle of baby powder with you and dust it on!

Or you could use translucent powder instead. I think its not that heavy so it should work :)

Blotting sheets will be your best friend! I use Hard Candy blotting papers and they work great! 150 sheets for $5.00 at Wal-Mart :) But be warned, if there's a guy around he might be fascinated by it and try to use your whole pack...

Cassidy I thought I was the only one who ever had that problem. My boyfriend now carries them with him when he's out on business and one of my male cousins tried them.

Hahahaha Sevetria, I thought I was the only one too! He saw them in my bag and then kept asking for more, never got his own though!

Idk usually my skin is shinier too and it's not oil, so I don't know if blotting sheets would really work in that case. It's just clean skin I guess. Like some people said, a little translucent powder with a fluffy brush could help.

I suggest bringing along a pressed translucent powder. It will mattify your skin without wearing makeup because it's a translucent powder.

I swear by blotting sheets. But to be honest, if I'm not wearing makeup then I already look awful, so I don't let myself think about it

Use a mattifying moisturizer or a mattifying serum. Controlling oiliness usually comes from controlling your actual skin. Translucent powder and blotting papers are temporary. If you want a permanent fix, look deeper into why your skin is producing extra oil. Is it because you don't drink enough water? Is your moisturizer too heavy in ingredients? Your cleanser might be stripping away a lot of your natural oil and your moisturizer isn't providing enough moisture back to your skin and that's why you're getting oily. Exfoliating too much can also make you oily.

You cannot control how much oil your skin produces - which is good and bad... It might look horrible to you but that "Dewey" finish is one that dry skin ladies crave! Also it keeps your skin looking youthful and glowing! So it has it's perks being oily ;) that said to diminish the appearance you can try all these suggestions that these beauties provided but they will only be temporary solutions so I say embrace the oil! I'm also trying to embrace it on my face :T.
