Paint all your nails black and make sure its shaped that way. On your accent nail, apply tape so it forms a cross. Paint gold polish over the tape and once its halfway dried, peel it off gently.

I would suggest painting your nails gold once dry apply tape in the shape of a cross and paint black over

You can tell it was made with a striper brush, but if your bad at using brushes like I am, paint your nails black, make sure they are completely dry, put square pieces of tape on the top cornerf of your nail then the bottom corners so you will get a cross shape, paint over gold, I like to sponge it on but thats just me, then while it's wet, remove the tape carefully. You want to remove it while it's wet because if you want too long, it will become tacky and when you go to pull off the tape, you will ger long strings of polish and it will ruin the design. Hope that made sense.

I agree with Lauren.painting gold first then applying a tape in the shape of a cross n paint the black polish would be more easier.
