I can't express how aggravating this is. I can put my hair up with two hair bands and within an hour, it's falling down and out. Same with headbands. Even the ones with the strip of rubber on the inside. My hair just hates being put up. Help please??

So I guess I'll just let it fly fry or use those big clip things.

Maybe you arent tying it tight enough??
Maybe your hair is too short??

My hair is almost down to my butt lol and if I would tie them tighter if I could but I tie them until I can't my fingers/hair through them anymore. The next step is snapping them lol. I tried bobby pins but that doesn't help really /: my hair is an annoyance.

I would say put water and put it in a pony tail. Then tie it up for about 5 to 10 minutes and there you go. A strand won't even go out of place.

Lol well I actually do that sometimes but as soon as it dries it falls out. Oh the frustration! 😩

Put bobby pins under neither pushing up if that makes sense

I have thin straight silky hair that never goes up either but I use a lot of conditioner that's why my hair is so silky and slippery did you ever think you might use to much conditioner and that is why your hair falls out next time you shower use less conditioner if you use a lot and see what happens.😊

Sometimes when I use less conditioner it helps my hair stay in pony tails

I did use a but extra today but even on the days I don't condition, it still happens. Hahaha this is ridiculous. I hate my hair

That sometimes happens to me too but I manage to get my hair up by using less conditioner sorry that you are having trouble figuring out what to do to make your hair stay in pony tails I hope that someone figures out why this happens but I think that your hair is pretty and wouldn't look bad down.

I love having my hair down but when I'm cleaning or something it gets in the way. what I think ill do is locate my big clip and just.clip it up. That always worked. lol thanks for the input guys :)

You could try teasing your hair a little bit to give it texture.

I have the SAME exact problem all you have to do is put more hair ties in your hair I have the thickest hair ever and it's not even that long and I put 5-6 hair ties in it to play soccer.

After you make the pony, pull the band lose a bit, split the hair from the band to your head tuck the end of the pony under and up thru the split you just made, then pull the ends a little to tighten the band back up Or do this with just the top portion of my hair, if you want you can pin in a few bobby pins to keep it all together then spray with a little hairspray.
I had this in my notes :) I hope it makes sense

Do you tie it three times? If you do and it still falls out get tighter bands. If you can't tie it 3 time get looser ones. You might just have to break down and use hairspray/gel.

I used to have the same problem then I got these hair bands that have the rubber grips all over them but they were nice because the band itself was bigger than normal sized hair bands and I could tie my hair three times (my hair is really thick) and it held my hair SO well! I needed it for gymnastics and those hair bands I could go with only using one and not like three normal ones with bobby pins and my hair would still stay put! I don't know what brand they were but I found them at Sally's.
