Hey guys! I was just wondering what your favorite liquid foundations are and what you use to apply it with. I have tried so many but they always wear off and I just haven't found the perfect one yet. I have fairly dry skin so it's kind of hard to find a good foundation that doesn't look like it's highlight my skin that's peeling off (gross, I know) I put on moisturizer and it's getting better but I still need help! Any suggestions? Also are there any other things I should be putting on my face before the foundation? (The price also doesn't really matter(

A good moisturizer with Kat Von D's liquid foundation. I apply it with Sigma F80 brush

Well my favorite is Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. I think you should look for a foundation that has a dewy finish. If you're not using a face primer already you should invest in one. I haven't tried but I've heard Tarte foundation is good for dry skin.

Ayee I know how you feel! I don't like dry skin under foundation :( I found that primers really don't help and the only thing I can do is exfoliate all the dead sin cells off and put on a nice moisturizing mask the night before.

I like the covergirl tru blend foundation. Lightweight, medium and buildable coverage and decent lasting power.

I also like maybelline superstay. Its more of a satin matte finish and its waterproof so it lasts the whole day! :)

Make sure to carry around a face mist with you during thw day to moisturize your face without moving your foundation. :)

Revlon colorstay is always my go to! The real techniques expert face brush (it's just a buffing brush) is amazing and around the 7-8 dollar price mark.

For dry skin I recommend Clinique Even Better, Makeup Forever HD, or Laura Mercier Silk Creme. I have super dry skin and CeraVe has helped me a lot for dryness. I use the Hydrating Cleanser and the Moisturizing Lotion and Cream (the cream is better for night). Also you need primer! Or at least I know I do, I love L'Oreal Magic Lumi Primer (I'm glad I finally tried it because I have tried so many high end ones that I either didn't like or were okay but not worth the price; this one though is pretty dewy and well luminous hence the name but it makes my dry sometimes dull looking skin look glowy and healthy).

I have terrible dry skin like you are explaining for a drugstore choice I love Loreal true match lumi and for high end Nars sheer glow is good for dry skin. Also if you don't have many imperfections and if you good with just using a light coverage foundation and some concealer then I find MAC face and body good for my flakey skin as it does not cling. Try a moisturising primer and stay away from anything MATTE!! Using a matte product of any sort on dry skin is a big no no in my book as it just soaks up any natural oils or moisture you do have left in you skin. I find for a moisturiser first aid beauty cream to be very hydrating. Apply with a damp beauty blender if your skin is really flakey as buffing with a brush with only worsen it. If you fine you do need to set you foundation even using a primer then try a setting spray or a finely milled non matte powder. But with a good primer I find if you have dry skin you shouldn't need a setting powder

Palmer's Cocoa Cutter makes an awesome BB Cream. You can only buy it online, not in stores here.
