I say nay, I usually put oil in my hands then kinda brush my hands through my hair when its wet.
a lot of people say its bad bc your hairs weakest when wet.

You could also try a tangle geezer but otherwise definitely look for a wet brush rather then a regular one.

I've heard you can comb but not brush so that's what I do. I haven't had problems from that.

Also Fyi: The Wet Brush company also sells the SHINE BRUSH which is used on dry hair. And it really does add shine. Not crazy shine, but definitely noticeable shine.

I hear it's not good, but I still brush it when wet (that's pretty much the only time I can since I have curly hair😅). But I use a wide-tooth comb and a detangler/leave-in conditioner.

I always brush my hair while wet, and my hair is healthy, shiny and thick. But I almost never use heat and I prefer organic shampoos... That probably explains why though... But I don't believe it is bad for your hair. I do that for more than 8 years and my hair is never been damaged before.
