1)Now I know protein is needed for nice hair and nails, but meat isn't appealing to me any more, for the killing reasons.
So do I want to take in protein is there a pill or something? I know certain nuts are good.
2) now is there a vegetarian cake that does not contain gelatine? I know that is for vegan purposes but you have to kill an animal to get it (I still like dairy)
Thanks every buddy! <3

Nuts, eggs, dairy, peas, quinoa, beans, chickpeas and tofu. Also the vegetarian 'meat' such as Boca burgers, morning star (the brand) and other things like that are made with a lot of protein. I've been a vegetarian for 7 years now.(: Betty Crocker cake mixes do not list any gelatin in the ingredients(:

Just stay away from jello (obviously), pudding, cheesecake, and some pies.

I'm vegetarian, pescatarian actually. It's actually super easy being vegetarian(eating out is kinda difficult though. So I don't eat fast food anymore)
My fave ways for getting protein:
Black beans
Greek yogurt
Peanuts (and peanut butter)
Leafy greens
Green peas
Greek yogurt
Soy milk
Cottage cheese (and pineapples. 🙌)
(I don't eat eggs 🙈)
And I love Morning star and Boca though it isn't that great on protein.

Peanuts, and eggs I also know that there are some sprays for your hair that contain protein, you could also try protein shakes.

You might want to ask your doctor about iron supplements as well. I think iron tablets might be a bit much if you're not anaemic, but multivitamins with a higher ferrous sulphate content might help.

YAYYY I have been vegetarian for about a month as well. I take biotin everyday for skin, hair, and nails. As for protein, the dannon light and fit GREEK nonfat yogurt, has 19g of protein in a serving, one cup! So you can use that cup for breakfast and put granola and blueberries in it and it's really yummy. Or you could make a smoothie with a cup of the Greek yogurt, vanilla soy milk, and frozen fruit, (strawberries, bananas etc). That yogurt can be bought in a big tub. I drink a lot of soy milk. I would recommend the vanilla if you drink a lot of it because the chocolate has a lot of sugar. Bean salad is amazingggg. I make one that's from guy fieri on the food network (online). It has black beans, corn, tomatoes, and some other veggies. Kale is really good for you. I got this idea from zaxbys lol😂 buy a kale and romaine salad mix and mix it with matchstick carrots, chop up some cooked store bought eggrolls. Then it's kinda an eggroll salad :D I had some leftover extra salad dressing that I got with my zensation salad. So I used it and it tasted almost just like theirs😊 good luck.

Biotin is always good for hair. Also, for protein try soy if you're not allergic to it OR any beans. They are considered part of the meat group because they contain high contents of protein. Another good alternative would be to add in any dark leafy greens for protein and antioxidants. Great for hair, skin and nails. Also, make sure to stay away from any products that may contain animal by-products in them if you're going vegetarian! Research is the best way to know what to look for. Sometimes the actual animal by-product will go by different names other than animal fat or w/e, so make sure to do your research first! Hope this helps and good luck on the new healthy lifestyle! :)

Also, at a lot of fast food places, you can order with a substitute to meat or without meat. Like for example, at McDonald's, I order a cheeseburger with no meat. You can also order grilled cheese there. Taco bell you can get beans instead of meat, and their crispy potato taco is really good.
