I would use neither this product or Johnsons Baby milk. Neither have any redeeming ingredients that are beneficial to skin (such as anti aging ingredients for example). Kaolin is the second on the list of the skin balancer and after some time too much of it can dry out the skin. Perfumes that are listed can further irritate your sensitive skin. I don't know what products are available where your at but its not these two.

Nothing overly offensive in product. The clays is soothing, as is the zinc. The glycerin is hydrating, but can irritate. Caster oil can dry out skin. Emulsifers bind water and oil. I don't like added frangeances...
Pro... not many ingredients... not not all are listed, it will sooth temp... but may dry you out in long term
Con... fragrance added, caster oil is stripping, don't know all ingredients, not good for long term
A good product, has nothing in it that does not belong there. Everything benefits the skin, or the active ingredients.

@Amy...kaolin tightens the skin and is used to dry out acne. How can it be soothing? It draws out impurities and toxins from the skin. Is it possibly locking in the castor oil?

If you research ingredient, you will find that it is used as a soother, both for cosmetic and medicinal uses. It reduces inflammation, and speeds healing process. Its why we use it in aesthetics after some facials. To reduce reddness and sooth skin.
Also, it does not dry out acne... it may draw up infection by localizing it... but that is cause its soothing the inflammation to infected area. Look up langerhan response, tcells, white blood cells, leukocytes ect... wound healing...

Castor oil is pretty aggressive on natural lipids. Oil sponifies oil. Caster oil, is very strong... and strips our lipids too much... unlike olive oil, or soy...
But its cheep, so its more common

@shelly, I can recommed some cosmetic chem. Books to you and skin phys. Texts. Also, I'm not sure of your education, but sometimes, different professionals in field do courses in various cities. The courses are amazing. Its a chance to educate with professionals at top of industry... but you need certifications or licensing to take them. I see your just as passionate, so let me know if you are interested... I'm happy to share. Product knowledge is so important. I love seeing ladies like you...

@Amy...aww thank you. My husband is actually a cosmetic chemist/dermo doc and we have a home office full of medical/cosmetic chemistry. I just stopped reading a lot of them because of my non-profit work. I'm such a nerd I even read his dermo medical journals when I have free time. Right now he's in Japan working and I only see him every couple of weeks so I don't have him around to pick his brain about stuff beauty related. I thought about following in his footsteps but one doctor is enough in my household.lol.

Powder may be mixed with rose water. Or combination of yogert, honey, rose water. Its applied as a mask. Or used as a gommage. It contains tumeric, rose petels, sandlewood, wheat.
Its antimicrobial, soothing, exfoliating... beautiful product. All natural. I do facials and body treatments with it. I think youd like it. And you have freedom to customize it to suit your skin.
