I always seem to get the wrong color when I'm in the store, any way to know what shade is yours?! Without opening the package.

I hold it up to my hand or cheek and get the 2 closest colors, if one turns out to be to light or too dark, I use it as a highlight or contour tool.

Well for drugstore you usually have to guess but at places like sephora and other makeup counters they usually have open bottles to test and at sephora they use this machine that tells you which shade you'd be for specific foundations.
