It shouldn't make you breakout more but it will bring skin impurities to the surface. I use it and it works well if you use them regularly.

Well I understand if impurities come up if they're like little bumps or tiny pimples. But my breakouts are like really deep? I don't know how to explain it lol

Yes... it's alcohol based.
Alcohol triggers skin irritation, whether you visibly see it & feel it - or not.
Irritation in turn triggers nerves, that can trigger hormones to go wacky. These hormones increase oil production and can enlarge the pores... and cause acne.
There are good & bad alcohols. But this product in particular is based on Alcohol that can be a disaster. ( It's also jar packaged... so any antioxidants or anti aging ingredients are unstable or just out the door completely. )

Thank you so much, kitty! So if I'm looking for new products next time, what ingredients should I look out for??

Alcohols, and fragrance (synthetic and natural) are a big culprit for breakouts. (Ethylhexyl Palmitate is also pretty popular... high end and low end. Commonly in primers, moisturizers, and lip balms. Highly comedogenic and can easily result in milia. )
If you want to continue to use a chemical exfoliant, the Philosophy Clear Days Ahead Oil Free Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment & Moisturizer is perfect. It's a BHA just like the exfoliating pads you are using, but without the alcohol.
Neutrogena Rapid Clear lotion is also a great BHA lotion for 1/3 of the cost.
