I use foundation, powder, eyeshadows, & mascara.
I need advice on other things! Bronzers, I've heard of things used to put under foundation... Things like that, but I don't know where to start, or how to use them!

Primer? I think a good starter primer would be elf. It is inexpensive and it's a good tester. elf primer to me is more dewy. There is also rimmel London primer that is more matte. That all goes underneath primer to hold your makeup. Bronzers are tricky. It tends to be what works for you best. I had to try several before I found one I like the best.

No problem! Primer is still confusing to me I'm still trying different ones out. But my first ever primer was elf and I still sometimes rely on it :)

Well primer is good to put under foundation because it creates a wall and makes your foundation appear flawless I love the smashbox primers because they all have a different purpose depending on your skin type their is also blush and it is put on the apples of your cheeks their is also highlighter use to highlight certain parts of your face such as under your eyes and the middle of your nose their is also contour used to make parts of your face appear thinner such as cheeks forehead chin and nose I'll post a diagram to help give you a better visual

Ok so here's what I did when I was in the stage your going through right now:
I took $50 and went to Target. With that 50 I bought basically every elf product that was there. Then I went home, read the labels, and started experimenting! Lol it took a few weeks to save the money but it was worth it! The products were inexpensive and gave me a great idea of what types of products are out there! After mastering things with my elf stuff then I graduated to more high end products! :) so you could always do something similar! That way you'd have inexpensive makeup and lots of colors. It's a great way to learn about new products and build your collection! Plus the products work really well for only being $3-$5!
