In a few weeks I'm taking a trip and we'll be driving there. It's around 13 hours and we plan to leave really early in the morning. What could I wear? I know most would say just wear sweatpants but I've only recently gotten out of my scared stage as I call it (I was too afraid to wear anything except baggy jeans, oversized tee shirts and hoodies) I've been trying to look presentable and I'd like to keep that up despite the drive! If I don't I'll probably "relapse" into the scared stage (it's happened before) please keep in mind I'm plus sized and don't like shorts! Thanks in advance just for taking the time to answer :)

I say a cute skirt, and a couple of layers of shirts. Like a tank top then a blouse or something. I'm glad you're becoming more proud of your body shape. :) have a great trip.

Thank you Sapphire! For the idea and well wishes :) I wouldn't say I'm proud of it exactly but I'm trying! I've tried very hard to lose weight my whole life and it's just not meant for me I guess so I might as well try to make what I have look decent haha.

Wear a cotton dress, comfy and still dressy so you feel confident! And if you are still interested in losing weight then maybe try Blogilates on YouTube. She does pilates videos and it helped my mom lose 47 pounds which helped her depression! Hope I helped!

Thanks Ariana! (love your name, if I ever have a daughter that's what I want to name her) I'm not really interested anymore, I'm healthy as is and I've tried all kinds of workouts and I eat healthy and I'm active, it just doesn't work so I won't push it anymore. That's amazing about your mom though! I bet she feels so great! Thanks for the ideas! I'm not really a fan of dresses but I really like the idea of dressing up a sweatshirt! Never thought of that and that's a cute outfit :) comfortable and still cute.

Cassidy. I don't know how much more I can contribute to the outfit ideas, but I'm so glad you are stepping out of your comfort zone. I used to be the same way and only wore really baggy jeans and sweaters and had a panic attack if I wore anything else, but now I can wear high waisted shorts and crop tops (with undershirts) with little issues. Hell I even wore a skirt last week and I haven't done that in 8 years. My confidence kinda fades when I pass a really skinny person, but I'm still working on it. It takes time and I'm glad you are finally stepping out of your bubble. Congratulations, I'm truly proud of you.

Thanks Christina!
Ashley, thank you so much! Congratulations to you too! I have panic attacks as well and it was pretty bad at first but I'm having fewer now that I've started doing it on a regular basis. I had almost come out of the bubble a couple times before but my confidence got knocked out each time. You are definitely right! It does take time and it's hard, I'm proud of you as well!
