Um well there's sun in or go blonder. Or use lemon and honey and enjoy some days in the sun.

The methods Sapphire listed should definitely help. If your hair isn't already dirty blonde though or very light brown, the results won't be much.

@mandie w. You could fill a bowl with lemonade kool aid dip in your tips or your desired "blonde" area for at least 1 hour and stay in the sun for 30 minutes tada.

Coming from someone who spent 5 years trying to go blonde without bleach, just bleach it. It's not as much damage as you think, and sun in, go blonder, lemon juice and all that crap is just going to dry out your hair, be uneven and likely be orange and unable to tone well.
Bleaching does not make your hair break off it you do it right. Go to a professional and it will not be that much damage. A lot of deep conditioner and taking care of your hair and it'll be just as healthy as before. I've bleached my hair 6 times in the past 2 years. It's in fantastic condition, better than most peoples unbleached undyed hair. Honestly just bleach it, don't mess around with diy stuff.

Bleach and DIY stuff both damage it no matter what. It's better to just bleach it but do it wisely. Most DIY stuff helps lift hair color because of peroxide, which is just as drying and damaging as bleach. Just get a good hair care regime going and you'll be fine :]

As long as you see a professional and don't rush the process, bleaching it is the prettiest, least damaging way to go blonde. I'm a licensed, professional Cosmo, and bleaching your hair doesn't always damage it if it's done right
