Looks like a sheer polish to me, you need to get an Opaque white.

It may not be good or require more than 2 coats I'd try with another coat if it doesn't work, try another one :)

I've had that happen to me too with a couple of my nail polishes. I think is just the brand of the nail polish that not very good quality.

Well nail enamel is polish that dries quickly to make them shiny when the liquid dries it hardens and creates a shell on top of the nail it's used to cover imperfections in the nail like chips or peeling plus it's way way way easier to remove than regular nail polish! Hope I helped
