In this article, I read about using SALT -Small amount- on your face with a small amount of water. It can help get rid of your acne. Is it true? Yes or no. Does it depends on the skin? Yes or no.
Because it is said that the salt will dry up your pimple , causing an overproduction of oil , which will then create blocked pores and more pimples. But it SHOULD dry the pimple up after a few hours , plus it would be significantly smaller?.. Is all this true? Because I want to try it but scared.

Well, salt helps to draw moisture from things, so I'm sure it will work. I don't know if it will cause overproduction of oil.

In theory it would work, but make sure you're using non-iodized salt, and STOP immediately if your skin does something unexpected.

Oh, and moisturize the area afterwards.

Agree with Hannah, rock salt will be your best option. Don't just use the salt you use for your food (buy the rock salt)

Or, what I do, is I take a little cleaning pad (like a cotton ball but it's just a flattened one) and I pour a little lemon juice on it, and then some non-iodized salt, and it works like an exfoliator!

Lemon is terrible for your skin, please don't do that! It's too acidic, it can give you chemical burns and ruin your skin.

Sea salt acts as a natural healing/antibacterial agent so that can help. But I'd just use a pot filled with sea salt and water and steam your face. Salt can be very harsh on your skin.
Also, lemon and salt at the same time just sounds like lemon in micro sized wounds to me. Not a good idea to put lemon on your face anyways, think of if you've got tiny scratches.

I have been using the Ocean Salt far scrub from lush on my face for years and my skin has never been better, so I guess it really depends on the kind. ;)

Mixing citric acid with sodium chloride will cause horrific burns. Please do not use that on your skin.
