I got some issues with covering up my acne. some acne covers just fine but the bigger, more troublesome spots just don't dissapear. they shine through after a few minutes already.

what I did with this picture is I applied concealer, bb cream, concealer again and finished with setting powder. I even tried 2 types of concealer... creamy and fluid. also, I stippled the whole time, so I wouldnt smear it out.

anyone knows what I'm doing wrong? its really stupid that I can't achieve flawless skin..

Oh dear, then the pic really shows no good. hahaha!
@Renay, thanks sooo much *-* <33
@Mari, thanks so much for your help.. I can't get Tarte here I think.. I live in the Netherlands.

Here is a better picture of my acne. Took it from my blog and the before and after stands for the effect of the BB cream I use on my skin.

Thanks again for the sweet words <3

Try a green primer underneath your concealer to cancel the red - I like the Clinique acne solutions concealer because it has the green tint , some salicylic acid to help the pimple heal, and a matte finish to help the raised pimple to better blend in with your skin tone

Also fuller coverage concealers can really make dark scars disappear as well if you layer it over a green primer even better

I'd use a concealer like Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Palette, It has a concealer with a green undertone that will cut the redness better than a regular concealer. I prefer this over a green neutralizer, topped off with a flesh toned concealer (less products, less cakiness) then top it off with a long wearing foundation like Estee Lauder Double Wear. This foundation line won't budge. They have 4 versions. Original in glass bottle, Light in a Beige tube, BB in an ivory tube & Maximum Coverage in a Navy tube. You just have to pick the finish & coverage you want.
