Hey girls, I just had to make a post on how incredible coconut oil is! I have a huge tub and I use it for:
•weekly hair treatment
- I rub a tiny bit of the oil between my hands and work it into the ends of my hair, leaving it in overnight and washing out really well the next morning. I wouldn't recommend doing it any more unless you've got very textured hair. Also DO NOT put it near your roots, cos this stuff is really oily!
•makeup remover
- Just rub some into the skin, then gently wipe/wash off.
•moisturiser
- I have psoriasis, and when I use coconut oil on irritated patches, I can literally see the scaly, dry skin get softer and less red, right before my eyes! I also have a few faint stretch marks and coconut oil is helping to get rid of these!
Coconut oil can also be used as cooking oil or a butter substitute, and it's an excellent massage oil! I'm going on holidays today, and I'm so annoyed that I can't bring some with me :(
Have any of you used coconut oil? What do you think of it, and what do you use it for?

It can be quite thick in consistency, I've got very thin hair and I find that it's difficult to wash out. But it's amazing for skin :)

I use it as a makeup remover too! I love ittttttttt for that use personally! Gets all my makeup off. And I love the smell of coconuts so that's always a plus :)

I use it for my hair as a hot oil treatment & I also put some in my hair after I shower. I have like zero frizz after it dries :) I also use it as a makeup remover.

Makes a great deodorant (baking soda and oil, make it a paste) It you have sensitive skin it's great.

Actually putting it in your roots is healthy for your hair, you just have to make sure you wash it out (after leaving it in for a few hours)
