I can't say much for tips as I've never used it, but I've researched enough to answer the other questions
You can definitely return it if the color isn't right at ULTA, but be sure to have the receipt.
Anastasia Beverly Hills makes the perfect brush for the Dipbrow. It's an angular brush with a spooly attached as well. The brush is almost always sold out at the ULTAs here, so it may be hard to find.
From the looks of it, the results are more dramatic than natural. I've read that it's very difficult to apply this with a light hand.
I've also read that this isn't a product for beginners because it gets messy and application can be difficult to master.

My answers probably aren't the best since they're all heresay but I figured I'd throw out what other people have said about it anyways. haha

Hi Autumn! I bought Dipbrow a few weeks ago and am still trying
to perfect the application.

My first issue is that I bought it in dark brown which doesn't look right on me. So I plan on exchanging it for chocolate.

Application: I'm still trying to perfect. Many people tend to outline first, then fill it in.

Return policy: Don't know because I shop at Sephora.

Brush: Angled brush. Anastasia has their own angled brush with a spooley on the end!

The intensity depends on the application. It will look natural if A: you're using the right color. And B: if you apply LIGHTLY! This stuff is extremely pigmented. You only need the tiniest amount! But you can build it up if you prefer a more dramatic look.

I've been opting for my Anastasia brow powder instead recently. But I think it's okay for a beginner, but put in some time practicing and getting used to the product first!

My eyebrows are a thick and a bit unruly at times so I really have to work with it. But I do think it's a great product!

And this stuff reallllly stays on your brows. 😳 and the amount of product you get is definitely worth $18! It will last a longgggg time.

Goood luck! 💋

But if you're unsure, try Anastasia brow powder first. It's $21 and I use it in medium brown. If you have any questions about it, let me know :)

Application: a synthetic angled brush, preferably a thin one, especially if you want it to be more natural looking. It'll allow you to draw hairs :) outline where you want the brow lie on the bottom and blend with a spooly. Also, I recommend getting your finger and touch it, put the product on the too of your hand, and dip the brush on that instead of dipping it straight in the pot. It's VERY pigmented. So be careful.
Beginner friendly?: honestly, I don't think so. You can go for it but it'll be tough at first. I really suggest elf's brow duo if your a beginner. It's like 3 bucks and has a gel side and a powder side. The gel is a lot less pigmented so it'll allow you to get used to using gel and it'll be more forgiving. Hope I helped!

I've had the pomade for a week or so only for the reason that I didn't have time to mix my Anastasia gel and powder and that I heard great things about it. as mentioned before, synthetic brushes do work better, and any angled liner brush will do. It's very creamy and pigmented, so I lightly angle and dab my brush into the jar. This gives off more bold and defined brows, so if you like natural brows that aren't too perfectly shaped then I don't recommend it. as for the return policy, I'm not sure because I loved it.
