For the past 8 months my hair has refused to curl. I think it's hear damaged, but how can I get it back? It's really frustrating.
It's especially bad with my layers that won't even grow!! :-(

Do conditioning treatments, get your ends cut, try not to use heat for a while and if you do use a good heat protector, use argan or coconut oil! you can always wait til your hair is damp then do pin curls! look it up on youtube if you don't understand what they are.

Try out bed head resurrection level 3 in red shampoo and conditioner , and try Its a 10 with keratin , these products have done miracles for my hair and will make it really healthy, and what do you curl your hair with? I used to use just a curler and my curls would last for a little bit but I started using a wand and they started last way longer and try using hair spray meant for extra hold

Wb my layers? Should I retouch them also?

Ooh when I mean curl I mean my natural curly pattern. The reason it doesn't curl anymore is because I used a conair curling iron almost 1 a week for months. The wand is much better though because it doesn't clamp your hair between two hot pieces of metal or "ceramic" whatever lol.

Oh sorry haha, wasn't thinking. I don't know what to tell you my hair use to be wavy ( unless I brushed them out) then I fried it and it barely gets any waves at all.

Try rollers in you hair overnight, then blow dry any wet parts in the morning, hairspray the your hair (with the rollers still in) then take the rollers out. Very little heat is required and it works for me. Good luck! 😊
