Hi!
I was wondering how the shades run in this cream. I've seen some reviews saying they run a bit yellow and a little dark. What's your experience if you're a user of this? And also what is your preferred method to apply it?

Ulta is too far away for me to try it in person. :( I tend to fall between shades in many products. I'm light complected with neutral tones. I wear warm ivory in MUFE's Mat Velvet and the original Light in Tarte's Amazonian Clay. Tarte's BB/ Primer in Light was perfect in summer, but just a hair too dark now.

QVC is having a sale on it, so I thought this would be the time to take the plunge. Lol! It'll save me in the long run from having to shell out for a new primer. :)

Sorry for rambling and TIA!

Well I only have my shade and its perfect for me and I use a flat top brush in circular motion to apply it I use my shade is tan or rich in the summer and you might be medium but I'm not sure how those shades play out.

I wear tarte bb in ivory and it's a tad dark for winter. I have the lightest it cc and it's super pasty pale. I've been mixing it with some darker bb and getting perfect results. Love the it cc cream but I am in between shades as well. It hasn't been too yellow at all and is super light in the fair. Not sure if that'll help but I do love this product!!

Thank you both! Yes, your answers did help! The more reviews I read, the better idea I'm getting. At first the reviews were all over the place, but you two helped to confirm what I thought!

I use the medium and it reads a little neutral to yellow. I always wear medium in most brands. I think I'm an Nc30 in Mac & Estee Lauder Double Wear Light in INTENSITY 3.0.

I use my swipe on with regular foundation brush just to get an even, thin layer, then use my fingers to blend all over. And use a beauty blender to fine tune if needed.

Thanks, Marleen! That's a big help too! I think I'll go with the Light. I'd prefer a lean more to yellow than to pink. If my foundation has pink in it, I end up looking permanently flushed and not in a pretty way. lol.

@Tina K. You are welcome. I think you will like it. It has a lot of beneficial ingredients in it yet it feels more like a moisterizer than a foundation. It seems to adhere to the skin so it feels like you're wearing nothing. The one thing about this cc cream is, is its touted to be FULL coverage. It seems more like a medium or medium to full at the max. But its still beautiful and worth trying.
