I prefer gel liner for my water line. I think that the Maybelline gel liner is a great option for that.

Don't buy the Urban Decay liner, it's a rip off for the price and there's a dupe that stays on longer. Get the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner. It's only $6 compared to Urban Decay's eyeliner which is $23. It has the same creamy consistency and in my opinion it stays on waaay longer. Also try setting it with black eyeshadow to make it stay longer.

Actually Shauna, it's only $17 here in the USA, and a lot of people prefer it because there's a wide range of colors :) myself included haha.

UD pencils are great, as well as Lorac's liners.
as for drugstore brands, I like Revlon Colourstay liners & Maybelline's Eyestudio gel liner.

I love the UD PENCILS! I love to wear deep end for a pop of color on my waterline and it stays put all day! For drugstore I'd go with l'oreal's lineur intense or maybellines gel liner!

I use Maybelline gel eyeliner, applied with an eyeliner brush, on my waterline for a long-lasting effect. I don't need to set it with black eyeshadow most of the time either.

If you burn the end of your eyeliner for a second with a lighter (wait for it to cool) wipe it on the back of your hand and then apply it, it won't run and will be very black.

There are only really 2 makers of eyeliners in the whole of makeup-dom and even the big makeup houses source from there. Their names will be familiar: Stabilo AND Faber-castell. That's why in eyeliner, you don't need to spend much to get the same quality. The UD 24/7 is the same formula as the MUFE aqua liner , the Milani liquif'eye, and the best deal I've come across yet: the LA Girl Glide pencil. They were all made in the same place. Same is true for the Mac Fluidline and the Bobbie Brown gel liner. Same formulas, but different companies do get to pick which colors they can have done.
