Be sure to check out http://www.ewg.org/skindeep for info on the toxicity of the beauty products you use. You might be surprised at the 'quality' and 'safety' of your favourite brands; I certainly was!

Now I'm beginning the process to switch over to green, vegan, organic cleansers that are also nut, coconut, and dairy free. My new rule: if I can't put it in my stomach, I can't put it on my face! My skin is feeling better already :)

Stressing this especially for those in the USA like I am. The US only regulates 10 chemicals in beauty and skincare products whereas Canada regulates around 600 and the EU regulates over 1300. Let's put our safety first and stop slathering our faces with allergens, toxins, irritants, and carcinogens just because a company is great at marketing. *wink* :) EWG is now my first stop before I buy something.

@Jordan You will probably enjoy learning from Gorgeois.
She is a skin esthetician, and although most natural things seem like a better choice in skin care ( I was on the same boat as you ) that is not always the case. ( Poison Ivy is natural and you won't ever catch me rubbing that on my face. ) This is one of my favorite videos from her : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lrZqiqoZGA&list=PL7QNgFLgKuaJa25kMqiIxqTFkFLFM9D14
I love that she teaches about ingredients and how to properly analyze a product ♥

@Velen it's not only bread! The safest way to go, at least I believe, is non gmo certified organic and when I say certified organic I don't mean fda certified organic because that don't mean squat anymore. If you all want to learn more about non gmo certified products including food, beauty, personal care, baby and vitamin products check out nongmoproject.org! Organic doesn't always mean spending more money either! I buy all 365 brand products...not expensive and they are 100% organic AND non gmo certified which means they contain NO genetically modified ingredients as most of our food does! And this is not just a fad! Even CHEERIOS made a non gmo cereal which is huge because it's a very popular brand and they're pretty much admitting that all of there products do contain genetically modified ingredients. But don't take my word for it! I Encourage everyone to do their OWN research and come up with their OWN conclusions! Unfortunately we live in a world where money is most important and people's health comes dead last!

I'm awe struck!! Plastic in bread?!! That's beyond messed up!! Wonder bread is now dead to me.😵 as for meat I'm a vegetarian, so in the clear on that one...but darn it I do love a good sandwich...so sad😩 I'd really like to know if you ladies find out anymore on this subject. I'm definitely going to do some research myself💜 This was a awesome read.
