Hooded Eye Help!

I recently realized tthat I have hooded eyes and I'm new to blending proper placements and complimentary colors. I need all the advice I can get so if anyone has some helpful tips they would be much appreciated. thanks girlys :-)

I feel your pain Rachel. When I apply my darker colors I blend it out a little higher above my crease line but not too high to reach my brow. You can look at some of my pictures on my page to get an idea (and better understanding) of what I'm saying :) Hope this helps.

I also have hooded eyes. You want to stay away from dark colors on your lids. Also mascara mascara mascara :) I curl my lashes and use they're real by benefit. I use a taupe color in create a crease. If I want a pop of color I place it in my outer V and blend it upwards into my crease a little bit. Also I don't line my entire top and bottom lash lines with eyeliner. I go about 3/4 in and also sometimes use eyeshadow instead. There are some wonderful videos on youtube for hooded eyes :)

Thanks so much ladies. I'm definitely going to check out youtube. Jennifer I'm like ocd about my lashes. they are pretty long but blonde :( I'm a mascara addict lol. my boyfriend of almost 3 years actually thought I wore fake lashes. I've never wore them before but I have some but unsure about applying them.
