Style a tartan skirt? HELP!

Please help me style my skirt, it's not typical tartan as it contain more green lines in it than red xxxx

I have a dark blue tartan skirt with black and grey lines and it's high waisted so I wear it with a black cropped sweater and cutouts booties. If it has light colors wear a white top and if it's dark like mine wear a black top! Xoxo

Depends what style of skirt. If it's skater, wear a black vest top, black tights and chunky black boots. If it's more tighter or bodycon, wear a baggier black top.
