I have a similar skin tone to you and I love the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Solei, its not as dark as the normal solei so its not that harsh on the skin :)

@sandra yea thats what I heard bronzers are a no go pretty much. that's why I was wondering what is good :) thank you for letting me know :)

I have Anastasia BH contour kit and I feel it works well for me. its in pressed powder form. it brings 3 different dark tones, a banana power, translucent powder, and a highlighter powder. I like it because its build-able. I can start w/ the softest colors and work my way from there.

@rebecca do you order that online? can I ask what brush you use :) @sandra I've heard that, that one is just so pricey lol. at the Mac counter a girl used wedge to contour, look pretty good lol ever heard of that? @jannelle I'd have to order that online as well huh? how much is that? @cass like a brown blush? or taupe one lol thank you all for the help BTW! :) y'all are awesome! @tina aww thank you!! I didn't wanna use that pic but I needed to show my skin color lol

Yes its online and its 40$ I honestly love it. I have the coastal scents one too but it only brings one bronzer and it's ridiculously dark. thats why I'm recommending the anastasia BH one.

I also like the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil. I have the Kevin Aucoin sculpting powder which has a grey undertone which is supposed to be more realistic but not for me. I have a medium "warm" olive skintone & the Aucoin's grey ("cool) tone didn't mesh with my skintone. I don't anyone ever considers "undertone" when choosing a contour or bronzer.

*I don't think anyone considers undertone. They just focus on how dark it is, or if its too orange or if it has shimmer in it.

@sandra I've seen that one used and I do want it! lol I've looked at the BH and coastal scents ones but they seem pretty dark :/ @jannelle thank you for letting me know seems like it would be an amazing buy darn the decisions haha @marleen I was wondering if you go buy your undertone because I've been told I have a pink undertone then yellow and now a natural lol. somethings can be so confusing lol still learning.

@rebecca it looks dark? I bought macs blunt and I think its too dark for me :/ and would y'all say BH or coastal scents is any good 40 a pretty penny I really want it! but I've been spending make up crazy lol #woman problems huh haha

@Brittany M...It would make sense to choose a ontour or bronzer by your undertone. When it comes to matte bronzers, you can have orange, yellow, red & grey undertones. And if we all have different skintones & undertones, not all bronzers are going to look good on everyone. Even if you have 2 people with "medium" skintones, one might cool undertones & the other could be "warm".

I'm fair skinned with a neutral undertone leaning a bit more towards warm and I love my NYC bronzer. It's matte, not too dark for my pale skin, inexpensive, and works well for me as either a contour or just to add some color so it looks like I've gotten sun.

I mean using a deep rose colour very lightly just to create the illusion of shade. Everytime I've done it people compliment me that I have a gorgeous peaches and cream complexion. Little do they know :)

@Rebecca J. I agree that bronzers are usually warm-toned. And I think thats why using a matte, medium, no shimmer bronzer works better as a contour for my skintone. I have a friend who is a natural redhead with pale skin & she looks better with a cool toned powder as a contour. And even though I use a bronzer as a contour, I don't think all bronzers are appropriate as a contour.

@michelle thank you for letting me know :) love inexpensive items he he
@rebecca hmm I might have to give it a try.. I'm torn between the Anastasia contour kit, Mac wedge eye shadow since it looked pretty good lol or the lllamasquas cream lol
@cass oh okay but you have a very pretty skin tone @marleen so do you! so you can get away with a bronzer lol

@cass...Yes, I like the Too Faced "MILK" Chocolate bronzer which is the shade of cocoa powder. When I used a grey (cool-toned) contour, after an hour of wearing it, it made my face look like I had a dirt smudge on it. When it comes down to it, its all about trial & error.

@marleen I have the too faced chocolate one I like it, I just want something that isn't to orange bronzey look lol natural I suppose lol thank you for letting me know and the advance :)

@Brittany... ToohFaced makes 2 CHOCOLATE bronzers. The regular one for med-dark skintones & the MILK for light-med skintones.
