I.just bought it and am loving it! I have the loose form as well. I also have oily skin and I noticed that it kept me oily free almost all day. it also kept my foundation from getting patchy around my nose like it usually does.

Do you think the pressed version does the same effect with the loose one? because I am considering to carry it in my purse for touch ups.

The pressed version is okay because I remember talking to the sephora lady she said there's been returns people usually take the loose one but it's totally what you want :) good thing you could return it ;) if it doesn't work for you.

Auto correct it's a okay product but there's been returns of it stiffing up after a couple usages that's why the loose Is purchased more

I have the pressed one, two of them actually, I keep one in my purse. It's way too easy for me to overdue loose powder. A film does develop on the powder with use, doesn't effect it's use. If it bothers me I just slide a blade over it.

Hourglass mineral veil has to be my all time favorite primer!! I was interested in this thread bc I was looking into the nars as well! I have the Laura Mercier loose powder and was thinking of exchanging it!

I had the pressed powder but I didn't like the finish it gave me. Just made my skin look flat and a tad on the white cast side. I'm told that the loose powder is much better than pressed (actually receive more product with loose). I'll give the loose version a try once I hit pan on my Hourglass Ambient lighting powder.

The key with this one is using the right brush.

I have the loose & the pressed. Love them both. I have dry skin & use it to set my makeup. The pressed powder is different than most pressed powders. When you swatch it or swipe the puff over it, it doesn't appear that any powder transfers off the pan. I imagine thats why so many return it. Its not a "powdery" pressed powder. If you have super-oily skin or like really matte skin or like coverage in your powder, you may not like it.
