Maybelline better skin foundation??

Hello love, I have personally never tried this foundation; however, I can give you some reviews I have found on it... Here they are:

Here are some negative reviews:
"Okay so I know I'm quite pale about NC15 but you think that the more affordable makeup brands would make a foundation the right shade! Maybelline foundations are the worst for colour matching. I just purchased this particular foundation to find that their lightest shade Ivory is insanely dark! I've had to deal with them being too dark before but this one really is a new level. The back of my hand is now a lovely orange.
I'm sure for anyone not as pale as me this foundation could be lovely how ever I really don't think I could pull this colour off. Big thumbs down."
Overall she said she would not recommend this to anyone.

"I have used maybelline dream liquid foundation for a while and loved it. I seen this new "better skin" one and thought I would try it as I can have problematic skin. It made me break out the next day and my skin now looks worse. its very heavy and cakey on your skin unlike the dream liquid foundation and the colours are named the same as other maybelline products but are not the same colour at all. the fawn which is usually light in other products was like a peachy orangey very fake looking colour. A waste of money as I cannot use again unless I want my skin to get even worse!!"
This girl hated it even more, 1 out of 4 rating.

"The first foundation I had to wash off my face before I could leave the house. This is the worst foundation I have ever bought.
It seemed nice on the back of my hand, but on applying settled into all my pores. Even though I had moisturised and used urban decay primer it highlighted the tiniest dry patches all over my face.
The concealer was worse!"
As you can see she wasn't happy, another 1 out of 4.

"This product felt very thick on my skin. I have normal to oily skin, but have never had to use foundation for oily skin, and have been able to use most foundations. This foundation went on quite thick and needed quite a bit of blending to get a soft finish. I didn't like the finish it left on my skin. It looked quite shiny almost wet. I finished it off with some powder for a more matt finish. It did last all day. Perhaps it might be better for people with drier skin."
She didn't have as big a problem with it, 3 out of 4 rating.

Here are some positive reviews:

"For people saying this is to orange, for ivory users with fair/pale skin...
Maybelline's lightest shade has always been Light Beige, not Ivory.
Light beige 05 in this foundation is perfect match for fair pale skin.
Once blended in properly it is a really nice matte gel like Finnish, not too heavy, and is quite nice.
It does require powder touch ups throughout the day, definitely if you have oily skin.
I would advice a full facial cleansing and moisturisation before applying this, it does help with a better complexion.
I think this is a good value for money foundation, and I would recommend to a friend."
Another 3 out of 5 but she was more satisfied with the product.

"I'm confused to see some of the other reviews for this product because, for me, this foundation is perfect.
I normally avoid mid-price foundations because the colours and textures generally look so unnatural. But that's not the case with this one at all.
Ivory looked really dark in the bottle but when I got it on my skin it was absolutely perfect (I'm blonde with a fair but warm skin tone).
It gives a beautiful, flawless natural finish and stays shine-free all day. I'm finding this a refreshing change from BB creams because the coverage is so much better and it stays matt and perfect looking. I'm definitely a convert to this and I think it's excellent value for money."

It is true to its word it really does stay on.
I'm quite pale so I tried the Light Beige colour which suited me pretty much ok.It goes on really really well but down side is it dries too quickly as its applied and if you haven't moisturized it shows up every single dry patch and larger pores, which is not attractive or pleasant.
I would recommend this purely because although there were down sides I did like the fact I wore it all day and into the night and it never moved and it didn't leave my skin feeling yukky. Easy to remove with facial wipes.
I would recommend this to a friend!"
