Also called baja hoodies apparently, but I've only heard drug rug. All the stoners back in high school wore these, and I'm reading online hippies used to wear em and got the association from that. I don't know how accurate that part is.

All the guys at my school wear them, and they are pretty much all druggies...:) Drug rug is a very fitting term, however I love the way the look. So surfer/inde boho.

Also, just to clear this up, not only stoners wear them. Yes they do wear them but I've seen "clean" kids raised in religious families wear them. But they did get the name "drug rug" for a reason lol.

I can see where it gets the name since all the druggies have them at my school. I how they look and stuff though :)
I'll definitely check them out for myself. I'll most likely buy one for my boyfriend for his birthday since he want one. :)
Thank you Bryanna for telling me that even religious kids wear them and that they are warm :) I ove how they look and the warmth part is just even better :)
