I have needed a good blending and crease brush for a while now, I have been looking at the mac ones but I'm not up for forking out that much money at the moment. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good crease and blending brush, preferably with natural bristles, and at an affordable price. P.S. I have hooded lids so I don't want the brush to be too big.

Mac 217 is awesome but the most similar ones to it for less are the sigma e25 and coastal scents brush that looks like it.
Mac 224 is a fluffy blending one. Sigma has a similar one called e40 and bh cosmetics has their crease brush.

Thankyou Cat but I'm not sure if I can get those brands in the UK, but I'll definatly check them out.

If you have elf there they have a contour brush that is perfect for the crease for $3 and then a blending brush for $1. I believe they ship to the UK. they also have a crease brush for $1 that is little and good for the outer v or smaller eyes.

The coastal scents brush is a great dupe, but my MAC 217 works soooo much better. They both get the job done, but my MAC brush feels and just works better. Sigma is another good option.

You should really splurge on the 217 brush. But if you really need something cheap, I suggest going with costal scents, they have a mix of natural and synthetic brushes. Elf brushes are horrible in my opinion, they don't pick up product at all, you'll be frustrated trying to work with them. I remember I tried using one of Elfs brushes for my blush, and I had to dip the brush in 3 or 4 times to get a tiny bit of color on. I switched to a 7 or 8 year old Estée Lauder brush I had laying around and it picked up so much product with one swipe.

I have both the MAC 217 and the Coastal Scents dupe. Yes, the 217 is infamous for a reason - it really blends and gets the job done like no other. However, the CS brush will definitely work well for just starting out. Once you feel more comfortable with blending, then maybe you could treat yourself to the MAC 217?
