Hey all,
I have my first official photo shoot this weekend as a hair stylist for a local clothing line. It is an outdoor shoot with one model but I was recently injured and was put on crutches for the next couple of weeks. The designer is letting my partner and I use an indoor space to prep the model before going to the location.
Does anyone have any tips to share that would make getting around and carrying supplies easier?

Can you get an assistant?

Have an artist/tool belt on your waist that contains your touch-up essentials like combs, pins and hairspray. Once you're done with the original styling you would be needed close by for touch-ups. If you know details of the look it might help to only bring what is needed. Pack all your stuff in a rolling case and try to park your car as close as possible. Hope this helps.

I think you should call someone who can understand your instructions easily in hair styling. You can instruct your ideas to him/her and your style will be executed by others. A hairstylist is someone who cuts and arranges people's hair, especially in order to get them ready for a photograph or film. You can also ask some time to extend till you are getting okay. I hope you will get ready soon and back to work again.
