Simran I don't want to do that I've had my hair black for years finally got it a pretty blonde then, I messed it up now I'm left with this color.

You want to counteract it with an ash blonde dye. I had the same exact problem when I went blonde

Is it a lot darker than in the picture? If so it probably needs to be lightened more before you'll be able to tone all those brassy tones out of it.

Yes, what Brianne said. I went to get my roots touched up and the girl couldn't get the color to match the rest of my hair, it was yellow. Completely hated it. Mostly because you could see that my roots didn't match the rest of my hair. I went to the lady I had always gone to(only reason I didn't go to her this time is because I was impatient & didn't wanna wait a week to get in with her), & she put a ash dye on my roots & then my entire head. It turned out like a whitish blonde. The blondes I absolutely love.
